Encore Gala Performance

Carl Orff's

Carmina Burana

This one time performance will kick off the 15th Anniversary season for the New Choral Society with what is perhaps one of the most requested "encores" the group has ever received.  For those who would like to add their support to the fund-raising efforts undertaken during the season wide celebration there is a Black-tie Gala Reception at the Scarsdale Golf Club, immediately following the concert performance. An exciting Silent Auction will be held that evening with special, musical offerings such as private recitals in the high bidder's home, and commissioned compositions that the chorus and orchestra will perform in season 16. Tickets for the gala concert event are $125 each, which includes a $50 tax-deductible contribution. Seats for the concert only are $25 each. Both tickets can be ordered by calling the New Choral Society office at 914-725-1678 or by clicking here.

(THIS CONCERT IS NOT PART OF THE SEASON SERIES AND MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY)

An Evening of Chamber Music

Join us as we continue the tradition of presenting our chamber orchestra in a concert of their own. The program is designed to feature the wonderful musicians that make up The New Choral Society orchestra. You’ve heard them for years, accompanying the chorus while they presented some of your favorite choral masterworks. Now’s your chance to hear these talented instrumentalists in an intimate setting befitting the tradition of the chamber orchestra. Conducted as always by Dr. John T. King, this music is sublime and will warm even the coldest of winter’s nights.
